WATCH: Milwaukee Man Found Python Hiding Under Back Porch

I literally can't stand snakes. In fact I have the "willies" just writing this right now. I can't imagine being Gary Lee finding a snake hiding under his back porch! According to WISN 12 News, he was cleaning up around his Riverwest home on Wednesday when he found a ball python hiding under his back porch. He originally thought it was just a fake one until he saw the eyes moving! He immediately went to call 911 and MADACC ended up coming to get the snake which they took to their shelter. They mentioned snakes can be crafty lifting lids off their aquariums and getting out of houses. This is why snakes are not meant to be pets people! Experts at MADACC said it was about five-feet-long which is said to be the normal size of a full grown, female ball python. It's an animal that shouldn't be in the wild here so it most likely was someone's pet they either lost of just let free because they no longer wanted to care for it. That is just so wrong! According to the article, MADACC will hold the snake for five days in case the owners come forward. I personally don't think they deserve to get the snake back! If no one claims it a rescue group who specializes in reptiles and exotic animals has already volunteered to take it in.
