Let There Be Drums World Record Attempt

LET THERE BE DRUMS is a once in a lifetime musical spectacle that will create an unforgettable music experience, as well as helping Minnesotans in real life financial crisis.  The event is free to the public.  

Join us on Harriet Island in St. Paul on Wednesday, September 20th, as a nearly 40 piece band leads hundreds and hundreds of drummers playing a full kit to create a Guinness book of world records attempt!

Led by The Worlds Most Recorded Drummer Bernard "Pretty" Purdie, the main stage on Harriet Island will feature such internationally known drummers such as Jay Williams, Jimmy Paxson, Sandy Gennaro, Charlie Adams and many more. 

There will also be a trade show at the McNally Smith College of Music on September 19th from 11:30 AM to 5 PM. Following that event, we will be at M Street The lower level of the St. Paul Hotel for "THE REHEARSAL". 

This evening event on September 19 will be a three gathering, a Meet and Greet with our national featured drummers, and an opportunity for everyone to meet the charities being assisted by our main charity The 30-Days Foundation, www.The30-DaysFoundation.org and a Rock and Roll Raffle that attendees will be able to win concert tickets restaurant certificates and many more to benefit all of our charities.  

This event's highlight will be a unique chance to see the actual nearly 40-piece band rehearse the two songs being performed at 6:00 pm the following day on Harriet Island with the hundreds of drummers, Aretha Franklin's ROCK STEADY and The Beatles final medley on the Abbey Road album, GOLDEN SLUMBERS. CARRY THAT WEIGHT and THE END.
