The Summer Flower Show displays the greatest array of warm season blooming plants over the longest schedule of the five Sunken Garden Flower Shows. Lavender, purple and peach will be the main colors of the 2019 Summer Flower Show. The main features will be roses and lilies and they will be in the show for the entire summer. The varieties are peace roses and lily ‘Saltarello.” Fragrance will come for heliotrope and lemon verbena.
The companion plants are purple, lavender, and peach. The filler plants will be refreshed several times over the course of the show offering an ever changing backdrop for the lilies and roses. A few that will be featured will be Caladium ‘Vava Violet,’ Begonias, Foxglove, Lewisia, Cuphea and Snapdragons.
