We are less than two weeks away from Thanksgiving. Here's a list of movies with Thanksgiving ties you may want to stream to get you ready for one of my favorite holidays. Love the cranberries!!!
1. "Addams Family Values" (1993): Wednesday Addams gives a speech about the injustices done to Native Americans during her camp's reenactment of the first Thanksgiving.
2. "Planes, Trains, and Automobiles" (1987): Steve Martin's character is trying to make it home in time for Thanksgiving.
3. "Miracle on 34th Street" (1947): Yeah I know, you're thinking "Hey that's a Christmas movie!" But it opens with the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade, so hey, it counts!
4. "The Ice Storm" (1997): It includes a scene with a Thanksgiving dinner with a not-so-nice speech.
5. "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" (1973): This might be my favorite "Peanuts" holiday special. Snoopy's Thanksgiving feast with toast, jelly beans, and popcorn? Yes please.
6. "Spider-Man" (2002): It includes a Thanksgiving dinner.
7. "You've Got Mail" (1998): It takes place during the holiday.
8. "The Humans" (2021): It also takes place on Thanksgiving.
9. "Scent of a Woman" (1992): Chris O'Donnell plays a student who looks after a blind Al Pacino during Thanksgiving break.
10. "Home for the Holidays" (1995): You might be able to relate to this one. It's just another dysfunctional family sharing a Thanksgiving dinner.
11. "The Gold Rush" (1925): Charlie Chaplin prepares a Thanksgiving dinner.
