Happy Birthday, Marco and Irwin....a pair of Galápagos tortoises at Como Zoo. On Saturday they celebrated their 25th birthday!
The tortoises ate their cake and not just any cake. The zoo told FOX 9 it was made with delicious, healthy ingredients from the boys’ diet: papaya, pear, mandarin oranges, apples, strawberries, edible flowers, pineapple, cantaloupe, cucumber, collard greens and asparagus “candles.”
Como Zoo says these reptiles can live to be 150 – the oldest on record lived to be 152.
