WATCH: Police Officer Risks Her Life Saving Man Stuck On Railroad Tracks

Last week, Officer Erica Urrea of the Lodi, California Police Department was on patrol when she spotted a 66 year old man stuck on some railroad tracks. The crossing arm was down and there was a train approaching. After turning her cruiser around and heading back for the man, she jumped out of the vehicle and grabbed the man as the train was bearing down.

She saved the man's life and he was transported to a hospital to treat a leg injury.

Her reaction on a national news program is not surprising. The 14 year police force veteran and single mother downplayed it. She says that "anyone in the department would have done the same thing."
