It's a good thing Tom Brady has so much experience handling Lombardi Championship Trophies.
On Wednesday during the Buccaneers victory boat parade, Brady tossed the trophy to Rob Gronkowski who was in the boat behind him. He takes a couple of quick warmup practice tosses and sizes up the toss just as most people would before sending an expensive and famous souvenir hurtling through the air. I mean it's not like he could have thrown a spiral.
Gronk famously once dented a trophy. But here there is obviously another grave danger: having the trophy sink. Or maybe it could have hit someone in the head.
