Miller Lite Is Literally Running A Thousand Ads During The Big Game

Miller Lite is breaking free from the traditional Super Bowl ad mold and taking it to a whole new level by running a thousand ads during the big game, like LITERALLY running a thousand ads with the help of actor Rob Riggle! The brand is inviting everyday beer fans to become literal Miller Lite beer ads during the Big Game.

While fans won’t actually be on the television screen, Miller Lite is putting QR codes on Miller Lite fans in the form of jerseys to wear as they run, maybe to get a Miller Lite for themselves or their friends, during the Big Game commercial breaks, making them a literal running beer ad.

Here’s how it works:

  1. To become a Miller Lite Big Game Ad, all fans have to do is sign up online at www.MillerLite.com/RunningoftheBeerAds starting February 1. The first 1,000 eligible fans will receive $100, a Big Game Ad kit, and an official Miller Game Time Jersey.
  2. On February 11 during the Big Game commercial breaks, official Miller Lite Big Game Ads will embark on their ‘beer runs,’ advertising for Miller Lite via their Miller Lite Game Time Jersey.
  3. Get scanned! Miller Lite Big Game Ads can encourage nearby fans to scan the QR code on their Miller Lite Game Time Jersey and register for a chance to get what they really want: beer money.

Starting Feb. 1, fans can join in on rewriting the Big Game playbook by signing up for a chance to participate at www.millerlite.com/runningofthebeerads/signup and receive their official Running of the Beer Ads jersey and $100 for being an ad. Each jersey has a QR code that when scanned during the big game unlocks free beer money - because nothing says Miller Time like game time!
